Frankly speaking, liquid soap can be pretty boring. Its labels have nothing to tell. Maybe is says something about its scent or its proven claim, but apart from that, it makes us wanna yawn. ‘Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap’, however, seems different. Its package provides us with the philosophy of its founder and literally becomes a storyteller itself.
‘We are all one or none’, this is the key message of the Jewish founder who had immigrated to the US in the 50s. The activist and philosopher decided to stick to the traditional soap business of his family and created ‘Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soap’. Regularly, he would distribute his peppermint soap during his speeches about global peace. However, quickly the soap itself became more popular than his talks which is why he decided to print his ideas on the label of his products in order to reach his audience.
Still, in the third generation the packages carry the philosophy of its founder. This also means that the Dr. Bronner products are produced according to strict biological and fair trade standards. The coconut, olive, palm and hemp oil, plus its various esoteric oils are raised biologically. Every single scent is endowed with a different text.
About the product:
The liquid soap turns out to be a true allrounder. It can be used as shower gel, shampoo, detergent and even as tooth paste (thought we didn’t dare to test that out yet). As it may be, stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Drew Berrymore and Lady Gaga appreciate the diversity of Dr. Bronner’s soap. It’s indeed magic!
