This summer the Beauty-Label Clarins surprises with the delicious ‘Lisse Minute Baume Cristal’ – a limited lip balm that does not only add sparkle to your lips, but also to the packaging.
Inspired by the colours of gemstones and in accordance to the current Metallic season, the French cosmetic brand, focuses on the interplay of light and reflection. The packaging consists of a shiny base that, dependent on the incidence of light, either shimmers in a shade of silver or gold. The translucent plastic elements, decorating the tube, perfectly match the colour of the gloss that surrounds the pigment heart. In that fashion, packaging and product shimmer in the same tones and become one meaningful whole.
Clarins provides four different gem colours: rose, mandarin, gold plum and berry. The highly pigmented colour at the centre adds the favourite nuance to the lips; pink, coral or plum either with a golden or blue-pinkish glimmer, while the translucent coating provides the lips with a natural shine. Just yet, through its ultimate design, the limited edition enjoys cult status.
